John Cimba

As CEO, John is focused on leveraging Stax’s momentum as a newly minted end-to-end processor and will drive the company’s mission to eliminate transactional friction between businesses and the customers they serve.

A collaborative and results-focused leader who has scaled multiple equity-backed platforms. John most recently served as CEO of PropertyTek, where he led the software and integrated payments company through a period of rapid growth, a business that was sold to Greater Sum Ventures (GSV) in 2021. He also successfully scaled and sold GLC Custom Media, a full-service media agency, in 2022.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Western University and remains an active Board Member of PropertyTek as well as an operating partner with GSV.
