David Winters

As COO at Stax, Dave leads the company’s operational strategy and execution across customer experience, financial operations, risk and underwriting, human resources, legal, and enterprise project management, as well as Stax Bill. In this role, Dave is focused on building scalable, efficient operating models that enhance the customer journey, strengthen operational rigor, and support Stax’s continued growth.

Dave has a strong track record of aligning cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and implementing disciplined execution frameworks that improve performance and deliver measurable business impact. Dave is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Stax, Dave held C-level financial leadership roles at Catalis (previously known as Government Brands), Calero Software, Mformation Software Technologies, and Mycom. 

Dave’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University.
